Donja Williams, began her journey empowering others to achieve greatness when she became the single mother of two outstanding sons: Elijah, 17 and Josiah, 8.

She later extended her reach to empower youth through co-founding a Special Movement to Influence a Lifestyle of Excellence (SMILE), a program that promoted the positive self-image and social leadership of girls 8-12 years old.

Additionally, Ms. Williams is a well-known community organizer in her hometown, Rochester, N.Y. She served for several years at the administration level in local churches and non-profits performing accounting, book-keeping, financial planning services, community engagement and youth programming. Ms. Williams completed an AS Degree in Human Services and Social Work from Monroe Community College and later pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Donja founded Freedom In Me, LLC  in 2016, which provides business consulting, as well as credit and financial planning to individuals and businesses. Additionally, Ms. Williams wrote and self-published a handy guide for young entrepreneurs, called, “15 Things Every New Entrepreneur Should Know.” This resource is a “must-have” and is available for purchase on Amazon.com.

From a heart of true compassion, and despite her own need during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Williams possessed a strong desire to support new entrepreneurs who struggled to launch their businesses, due to lack of people access and resources. As such, she founded and launched the “Freedom In Me Business Showers,” using an online platform. “Business Showers” hosted its first entrepreneur in October 2020. The Program was able to gift the new business with a basic start-up package: marketing services, coaching services, website and logo creation, and more!

What tops Donja’s impressive list of accomplishments, is her unique ability to rally support around a cause and to gain momentum and support from individual, grassroots and corporate partners.

Moreover, “The Chief” packs a powerful corporate punch, as she is highly adept at honing the unique skills of those with whom she serves. In addition to Ms. Williams’ extensive not-for-profit experience, she’s spent over 15 years working with some of the top fortune 100 and 500 corporate companies. She is an experienced people leader who drives results. Donja Williams has a proven track record of transforming individuals and companies through analyzing effectiveness, success planning and financial mapping.

She leads using a strength-based strategy and by empowering her constituents to develop a sense of competence, capability and keen knowledge of their ability to positively contribute to any life or business situation.

She is highly successful at building trusting, long-term relationships and fostering intergenerational engagement. In her roles as Director of Marketing, Sales Coordinator, Call-Center Tech Support Supervisor, Training Facilitator and Instructional Designer and Human Resourcing, Ms. Williams has gained a wealth of invaluable knowledge and experience.

Now, in a world that is constantly changing; she continues to gain momentum and more determined than before to change the lives of all who she encounters. She is a well sought-after motivational speaker, trainer and facilitator and delivers on a range of topics surrounding personal and business empowerment.
